VoteReederXP turns volunteering into a game. Create an account, pick your avatar and a gamertag (no real names — protect your identity!), and start at 0 XP. From there, you earn XP for the things that actually move a campaign forward.
As your XP grows you climb ranks, unlock guilds, earn badges, and rise up the leaderboard. The more you do, the more District 29 wins. Let's level up democracy. 🗳️
Why a game? Because most campaigns ask you to donate and disappear. We wanted something better — a way for every supporter to see their impact stack up in real time, team up with neighbors, and have a little fun doing the serious work of winning an election. Every point on this board is a real door knocked or voter reached. The leaderboard isn't just for show — it's a live picture of a community organizing to flip District 29 together.
Every mission has a verification type that tells you how it gets confirmed. Here are the four types and example missions:
💡 Bonus XP stacks up for milestones — like attending 3 different event types, recruiting friends, or going on a posting streak.
Your total XP determines your rank. Climb all six — every rank-up comes with a special message from Karen herself. 🎤
Guilds are your team — join one to organize with other volunteers, earn guild XP together (the sum of every member's XP), and compete on the guild leaderboard. You pick your guild when you sign up — there's no XP requirement to join. You can switch guilds every 30 days.

Your dashboard has a mission board with three columns. Here's the flow:
1. Add it — Browse Available Tasks in the sidebar and tap "Add to Board." The mission drops into your ⚡ In Progress column.
2. Do it — Go take the real-world action (knock those doors, attend that event, post that selfie).
3. Complete it — Tap "Mark Complete." Auto & self-report missions award XP instantly and move to ✓ Complete. Photo-proof and event missions land in 🕐 Pending Review until a coordinator confirms.
Badges are bragging rights — earn them by hitting special milestones. There are 12 to collect, including:

Earned badges light up on your profile and dashboard.
The Leaderboard ranks every player by total XP — see the top operatives and find your own position highlighted in cyan. There's also a Guild Leaderboard that ranks the 7 guilds by their combined XP.
🏆 Civic Champion of the Month: whoever earns the most XP in a calendar month (not total — just that month) gets featured in the Hall of Fame, a certificate signed by Karen, and an invite to speak at a campaign event. You must attend at least one event that month to be eligible.
Nope. If you can tap a button and show up, you can play. Start with the easy auto-XP missions — a daily check-in, a lesson video — and build from there at your own pace.
Yes. You play under a gamertag you choose, never your real name. Your identity stays protected while your impact stays visible on the board.
No problem. Events are worth big XP, but you can climb plenty far with lessons, voter registration, posting, and field work on your own schedule.
Auto and self-report missions pay out instantly. Photo-proof and event missions sit in 🕐 Pending Review until a coordinator confirms them — then your XP lands.
